Your husband wants to make you happy.
It may not always seem so — like when he's staring agape at Monday Night Football or goes MIA for hours in the garage "building" something that never materializes. Nonetheless, he lives for those moments when your face lights up with delight. I know this because when I was writing my best-selling book, The Surrendered Wife, and more recently, Things Will Get as Good as You Can Stand, I asked hundreds of men how important it was that their wife was happy. Their answers hardly varied from things like, "Imperative," "It's everything" or "If she's not happy, what's the point?"
